Hello,
My name is Heather Smith. My work life is split into three areas, consulting, writing and speaking, and this is complements my passion for small business. As well as running my own business for a number of years, I have worked with hundreds of clients over a number of years. My speaking philosophy is if I am to be an engaging speaker, I should be well practiced at the craft of speaking and I should be sharing useful interesting information and insights from my own experiences.
Through consulting, training and interviewing I have had the privilege of working with thousands of business owners. From this vantage I have gained insights into the inner workings of small businesses. My talks are engaging chatty down to earth brimming with useful information, stories and practical tips.
My speaking goal is as a speaker/ panelist/ facilitator/ educator/ emcee to share the knowledge I have gained to help as many businesses as possible.
I work with micro and small business owners to assist them in implementing systems that will allow them to generate timely and accurate financial reports. I primarily work with MYOB and XERO.
